Dr. Rohit Joshi is a Medical Oncology Consultant at Calvary Central Districts Hospital, Calvary North Adelaide Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital. He works with the Adelaide Oncology and Haematology group at Calvary Hospitals.
Rohit completed his undergraduate training at the Christian Medical College in India, after which he trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Rohit is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and is certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).
He treats all solid cancer types with major interests in Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Gastro-intestinal cancers (including Colon, Rectum, Pancreas, Stomach, Gall bladder), Kidney cancer and Melanoma.
Rohit is the Director for Cancer Research with the Adelaide Oncology and Haematology Group at Calvary Central Districts and Calvary North Adelaide Hospitals. He was the former Director of Cancer Research at the Lyell McEwin Hospital. The research included lung, melanoma, head and neck, colorectal, breast, genitourinary cancers, along with supportive and palliative care studies; including Phase I, Phase II and Phase III studies. He was the Chairperson of the Adelaide Clinical Trials and Education Consortium (ACTEC), which is supported by Cancer Council SA.
He is a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and an Adjunct Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of South Australia.
